Our Ginger Flavoured New Forest Shortbread has been awarded Bronze in the Sweet Biscuits category at the 2026 Great British Food Awards.
For a small, independent business like ours, awards such as these are always incredibly special because they recognise what matters most to us, creating delicious shortbread that people genuinely enjoy eating.
Our Ginger Shortbread has long been a customer favourite. Handmade in the New Forest using simple, honest ingredients, it combines the rich buttery texture of traditional shortbread with a comforting peppery warmth, lifted with subtle citrus notes and studded with soft, chewy pieces of crystallised ginger. A familiar favourite reimagined with a little extra indulgence.
Since launching New Forest Shortbread in 2015, Tracy's aim has always been simple: to create exceptional shortbread, made by hand, with care and attention to every batch. Whilst the business has grown significantly over the years, that commitment hasn't changed.
Receiving another Great British Food Award is a wonderful recognition of the passion, skill and dedication of our entire team.
